What’s inside these little pretties is kind of just an excuse to finally use these canvas bags. They conjure up flour sacks and dusty old hardware stores, but could equally hold precious nuggets from the Gold Rush. And I love that when I ordered them, they came in a bag that was hand-labeled “door knob bags.”

The inspiration for what’s inside comes from a post of Derek and Lauren’s. When I saw their photos and realized I already had that same non-bleached parchment paper sitting in a kitchen drawer, I knew that a sticky, bubbling pot of salted caramel was in my future.
