my countries tis of thee
Jul 7, 2008
So I became an Irish citizen recently through my husband, and this is not a big middle finger to the US, but we decided to celebrate on the eve of July 4th. In retrospect, this was maybe a lunatic idea because it involved cooking Irish stew for 18 on a Thursday night after work, but while my husband rendered lamb fat and whisked a roux, I turned to the twin saviors of all dinner parties: low lighting and cheery tablecloths.
I got some great loot, and we continued the celebration over the weekend by planting a couple new rows of potatoes. That’s in addition to the burgers, fireworks and watermelon that we also indulged in.
I love my countries.

awesome. <chuckle>
I had a desire to start my commerce, but I didn't have enough amount of money to do that. Thank God my friend said to take the loans. Hence I received the student loan and made real my old dream.
