new washington post project
Nov 19, 2009 For this month’s Washington Post column, I created a project you can customize with images of family, friends, or special places for a meaningful holiday table. Simple materials and the sewing is optional. Check it out over here.

Whoa...that is such a fantastic idea! What an heirloom, I love this! Thanks so much, I'll be linking to your article.
Love it!
These are so cool! But the print washes out after only a few washings. How do you make the prints more permanent?
Those are so sweet. I love them.
Hi Terry, I've done this with shirts, other items before and had great luck washing them. So I'm afraid I can't offer any insight since mine have never washed out. The iron-ons I used though were very explicit about NOT washing the material before applying the transfer. Perhaps that has something to do with it?
What a lovely and beautiful project!
Love it!!!!

Thanks!
