thrify and social can mix!

Before joining the beekeeper’s club, I don’t think I had been in a club since the French Club in the 8th grade. Now I’m on a roll:

Mike and I decided, enough of the one-couple-hosts-all dinner party model, so we launched this sucker. Details are still being hashed out, but the idea is that the club rotates around everyone’s house, and when you host, you can invite anyone else you so desire.

The first club meeting was at our place last weekend. It was pretty dang awesome to get ready for 14 people coming over by simply making a pot of mac and cheese and lighting some candles.

I gotta say, I totally disagree with Groucho Marx on this club business.

well, i have to say., by way of clubs, 8th grade french club was pretty dang awesome:)

He he. We have curry nights. I am planning one soon. Everyone brings a curry. You cook it up and we have takeaway containers so that everyone also leaves with a few leftovers for lunch the next day. Works a treat.
