I think there can be an exchange of ideas, if you will. Remember when you posted something and it was in Martha several months later? I do!
I thought the same thing when I saw this.
Now I am thinking of one upping her and doing it on a canvas, since I am looking for cheap do-it-yourself artwork, while trying to keep a fresh, modern edge.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
I saw that too. I'm a teen librarian and I'm sooo doing this as an after school project, my girls are gonna love this.
I couldn't find this at Martha's site. Would love more detailed instructions on how it's done.
Hi Cyn, All you do is take a small piece of corrugated cardboard (MS recommends 4x4" for small flower and 4x12" for larger one), roll each piece up and tie with twine. Press end into stamp pad and apply to paper. The directions say that the first one may be light in color -- repeat several times so the cardboard totally absorbs the ink. And your stamp is ready.
when i read that, i thought the same exact thing. but then again you seem to be on the ball (or ahead of it) anyway ;)
