easiest trivet

Today’s radical weather swing is classic San Francisco. The skirt I put on this morning with the promise of a bright, sunny day was perfect until the afternoon, when our chilly fog came pouring over the hill without warning.

I had been thinking that I would grab an iced coffee for my late-afternoon break, but instead, my hands are wrapped around a warm cup of tea (okay, not as I type, but whatever).

I’ve been messing around with these wooden rounds for another project, but their size and shape make a natural trivet. Add a couple stamps to amplify the cozy woodland vibe, and even the fog starts to feel cozy.
